CORALINE.....go see it!

Adam Sager (my bro-in-law) worked for Laika Entertainment as a visual effects compositor on the stop-motion animated film "Coraline", directed by Henry Selick. Selick also directed "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and "James and the Giant Peach". Adam digitally removed various elements on the original photography, as well as composited various environmental effects. This means he did things like remove seams and rigs from the puppets, he made steam rise from pots and hot food, he also positioned the flickering flames of the candles...watch for them in the dining room!
Please go see it this weekend! It should be pretty awesome, I'd see it even if he didn't work on it. We're all hoping and praying that the movie does great so Laika can stay in business making more movies, and hopefully hire Adam back on so he and my sister and nieces can stay in Portland! All the jobs are in California, so let's support this local company and keep our family close!! The movie is also going to be in 3D, cool huh?
This is Sager as himself.....and as his 'other self'....watch the movie, you'll understand. ;-)

So, please go see Coraline! You won't be disappointed!

Don't forget to look for 'ADAM SAGER' under 'Paint / Roto Artists' when the credits roll!
