So, I'd like to get Renee started in something. Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I enroll her in a class that offers everything? Just tumbling? Just tap? She'll be 2 in December so she's right at the age where we can get started. Does anyone know of any good places near by?
My sister told me about the place her daughter goes, but it's a bad time of day....plus we paid $15 to see my 3 year old niece perform.....Let me rephrase that......I will pay ANY amount of money to see any of my nieces or nephews perform......but $15 for a recital that includes the weirdo teacher doing some kind of interpretive dance because she just needs to perform for an audience was a little too much! The whole recital was pretty cute, but that $15 dollars (that I believe even the parents had to pay) didn't even go towards the horrible video they made. Someone sat at the back of the auditorium and pointed the camera at the stage....no zooming......no editing......nothing! I CANNOT believe my sister paid $30 for that horrid video (or at least complain about it). Well, I'd pay anything to catch a performance of Renee on film, but I would rather just do it myself.....even if they say it's not allowed. Sheesh. There's my rant.
Anyway, does anyone have any ideas on how I can get started? Does anyone know anyone that dances, or teaches, or takes lessons? What's the opinions of all the moms of little girlies?

Still obsessed.
I still love the Twilight Saga. I still love Edward, and I love him even more now that I read the first 12 chapters of Midnight Sun.....which is Twilight from Edward's point of view. It's bitter-sweet though, it was amazing reading it from Edward's thoughts, but she's not going to finish it. The author, Stephenie Meyer, said she was too sad and disappointed to continue working on Midnight Sun, so it's on hold indefinitely. :-( Sad for me! Someone she trusted leaked it on the internet so she stopped working on it, though she made it available on her website for her fans to read. Anyway, I'm still obsessed and still in love. ;-)

So sweet
We were watching Strawberry Shortcake and Squirrely was really into it, so I just got her ready for bed in the living room. We put her jammies on, took her vitamins, brushed her teeth, she even had her bottle sitting in the chair....alone. So, I asked her if she wanted me to sit with her and she said yes. I sat down, put her on my lap, and she just nestled in and laid her head on my chest. When Strawberry was done I asked her if she was ready to go get in bed (she's really good about going down for naps, or bedtime), and she said 'No, nuggle'. How freakin' cute is that?!? She wanted to snuggle with me! She NEVER wants to snuggle, she has never been a snuggler. Of course I melted and couldn't stop kissing her, but within 5 minutes she was rubbing her eyes saying 'Nap time, nap time'. So, off to bed she went. What a sweet little girl.
ps. watched a chick flick tonight - Made of Honor - it was awful! waste of time, do not watch it!

Bassinet/co-sleeper Recall!
Just saw this on the Mom2My6Pack site. There's a recall on Graco and Simplicity Bassinet/Co-Sleepers, they are the 3-1 and 4-1 styles. Check *this* link for Simplicity info. I couldn't find anything specifically on Graco, but I did find *this* article. Please spread the word to all your friends! My BFF has this bassinet!

I'm such a DORK!!
Seriously, it's 12:00AM on Monday night! I should be in bed cuddling with my husband, but no, here I sit digging deeper and deeper into the world that is Twilight. I might even be able to call myself a 'Twilighter' at this point. I finished the 4th book last week, but I'm still constantly thinking about it. It was so hard to give the books to my sister, it was almost depressing to have them leave my house. I know I'll read them again, but for now I'll just become the biggest dork. I've put a countdown ticker on my myspace (for when the movie comes out), I've changed my background on myspace....Twilight inspired, of course, and I'm getting more and more excited and giddy for the movie! Tawny and I have been trying to figure out the perfect Edward, we're thinking Hayden Christensen maybe, or Shane West......maybe? I think I've put Edward so high on a pedestal that no man can be perfect enough for him. The actor that is playing him in the movie is growing on me though......but I'm NOT looking forward to Kristin Stewart as Bella. She's just not a very good actress, she bugs me. Oh well, I'll just imagine myself up on the big screen!! Sigh......
ps. anyone have any suggestions for another good series? I'm kinda' into love sick vampires right now, but anything will do......a suggestion soon would be great, I'm gonna' be on my own for about a week!
Hayden Christensen, I'm leaning more towards him.

Shane West, with a sharper nose he'd be great. Those eyes just smolder!
Edward and Bella (the actual actors)

Please be patient......
Adam, just be patient with me. I have a new obsession, a new addiction....it's not myspace, it's not facebook, it's not blogger. It's a book, or a series of books rather. I finished the first one in 2 days, and I'm almost half way through the second already! I'm so in love! I won't (can't) explain how incredible it is. It's funny though, it's so juvenile, the book is totally aimed for teenage girls.....but my oh my! It has me hooked! My sister read it, my brother's girl friend read it, my friend (Lauren) read it, other friends, Tara, and Brooke, and Melissa......all of whom have no connection to the other (other than Juli and Genevieve). This book is so huge (in popularity) and so inviting that if you even have a taste.....you're addicted.
My sweet husband just needs to realize that I'll be 'away' for a few days, I'll be back, but for now I'm in a different world.
See Genevieve's blog *here* for an idea of what I'm talking about.
I noticed Faith posted about Luke's birthday, I notice Mom2My6Pack posted a few times, I noticed a few other alerts and updates on myspace.......but I can't stand to spend the time at the computer reading......when I could be in Forks (the town in Washington in which the book takes place). I haven't actually read anything, or looked at any pictures, I've just notice I have a lot to catch up on, when I come back to this life. It's hard enough for me to post this, but I want you all to know about it!!!!
