Only a few days!

If you've sent me an email, message on facebook, or any other kind of request you're on the list. If not, you have a few more days!

I'll be going private next week!!!

Be sure to keep my email shellee_k@yahoo.com on hand just in case you can't get in. Hopefully it'll all go smoothly....but with Blogger I doubt that'll be the case.

Have a wonderful Memorial Weekend!!

Finally, Actually, Going Private!

So, I talked about going private a year ago. I think I have it figured out and organized now! Here are the instructions again........

Basically, if you want to read our blog, you will have to sign in. That's all. But first, you need to email me (shellee_k@yahoo.com) and let me know that you want to read it. Then I will enter your address into our profile and one of two things will happen: If you have a Google Account associated with that address you will be given access to view our blog. If an address is not associated with an account, you will be sent an invitation email with a link allowing you to do one of three things:

1) Sign in to an existing account.

2) Create a new account.

3) View our blog as a guest (no account required).

In the first two cases, you will be given permission to view our blog whenever you are logged in to your Google Account. As a guest, you'll be able to continue viewing our blog through the link in the invitation email, but this will expire after two weeks. After that, you'll need a new invitation....so you might want to write down my email address (if you don't already have it) to send me an email asking for another invite.

Here's the list (again) of who is already set to be invited. I'll give you a couple of days to email me, shellee_k@yahoo.com, if you're not on the list and would like to be invited to read. Don't be shy!

Yummmmm

Why doesn't blogger recognize these as rotated? I posted some pics like this (in 2008, I think) and blogger did the same thing! Argh...... Anyway.

Yummy lips....with Oreo crumbs
Perfect little face
Lovely lashes
Sweet little ear
Cute little nose
More of the yummy lips....I still love smelling her breath!
Sleepy girl. She had been playing all day and nap time kinda' slipped by. I told her she could lay on the couch with a movie (Strawberry Shortcake, of course). I knew what would happen....and it did. ;-)

32 - 33 Weeks

Can you believe my belly is 46 INCHES around?!? My rib cage is 38 inches....to give you an idea of the difference!
These pictures are from 32 weeks +4 days
Love this shirt!

Pillow Talk

I thought he was already asleep, but when I came into the bedroom he was watching something on his phone.

Shellee: What are you watching?

Adam: A guy pack wheat into a 5 gallon bucket.

Shellee: Oh crap! I forgot the tums.

I snuggled into bed....and by 'snuggled', being 32 1/2 weeks pregnant with a 46'' (YES I said 46 INCH) belly, I mean grunted, flopped, bounced, kicked, and sighed into bed.

Shellee: Why are you watching a video about a guy packing wheat into a bucket?

Adam: Because I couldn't think of anything else to watch.

Shellee: But why did the guy make a video about packing wheat into a 5 gallon bucket?

Adam: Why not?

Shellee: Zzzzzzzzzzz.......

To slice or not to slice?

I had an appointment yesterday. I'm 31 weeks (+6 days). I found out, at my last appointment, that my doctor will be out of town during my due date. It's understandable though. My due date is July 2nd, who wants to be delivering a baby on a holiday? Renee barely made it before Christmas on December 20th! Anyway she told me she'll be in eastern Oregon, so I figured there'd be no way to get her to come in to deliver this little break dancer. After talking to her at my appointment, and thinking about it (and talking with Adam and my sisters), I made an appointment to have a C-Section. My plan is to have a VBAC (Renee was breech), but I do not want to end up having a C-Section without my doctor. I wouldn't mind delivering "naturally" with another doctor, but if I labor and a C-Section is needed I want the same mechanic under the hood. If this baby is breech (the chances are higher he/she is, having a previous breech), then I'll have to have one anyway. My sister, Debbie, made a good point: I've already had a C-Section, so we know my body can handle it, and I healed great. Also, my doctor knows my body....and it knows her, so to speak. ;-) She made a good point about scheduling the C-Section: It's much harder on me (and the baby) if I labor and end up having a C-Section, than if I were to just schedule one. Ideally a VBAC would be the best/#1 choice, but the fear of the unknown, and the fact that someone else could slice me open (if it comes to that) is what's hard to swallow. Another reason I'm ok with scheduling the C-Section is that my due date is July 2nd, and at my first appointment (I was 8 1/2 weeks), but the ultrasound measured the baby to be due on June 30th. Then at my 18 1/2 week ultrasound the baby measured a due date of June 25th. I'm also measuring big (with the measuring tape) every week. Today I'm just shy of 32 weeks, but I measured at 33 weeks. This pregnancy has been so different from Renee's. This baby is moving all the time, he/she measures big at every appointment, I'm carrying differently, etc. I just feel like I'll probably deliver before my due date anyway. I scheduled the C-Section for June 30th because that's the day before my doctor leaves, and the day after the movie premier I'm going to! Hee hee. I've been to the 2 first midnight showings of the Twilight movies. The 3rd one comes out on June 30th, but my friend rented out a theater on June 29th at 5:30pm! That will be so much better than midnight! My doctor has read the books, but she thought I was silly when I told her I was scheduling it around the movie. Anyway, that's the latest on this pregnancy. We still DO NOT know what we're having! We're very excited, and a few things around the house are coming together. If you haven't yet, don't forget to take the poll (to the right), to tell me what you think we're having!

New blog

I've been wanting to do this for a long time. Well, I've been wanting to post all of these for a long time, but I decided to copy Faith and just devote a blog to everything my silly little girl says. I have 46 saved 'drafts' on my phone (that's where I write it down) to add to the new blog. It's called 'What'd she say?', and you can find it *here*. It's just all the cute things Renee says, well, I think it's cute anyway.

You can save it to your favorites with the address of http://reneedjk.blogspot.com. Enjoy! ;-)
