We went to Leipold's on Sunday. It was great. Of course we were all a little late getting there, the meet up time was 10am, we got there at the same time as Debbie and the kids, about 10 after. Joey and Genevieve about 10 minutes later, Mommy and Daddy 5 minutes after that, and of course, the Sagers weren't there until....what, like 11?? So, we got the tickets for everything we wanted to do, took some pics, drank hot cider, Jeremiah rode the pony 'Hee haw, yee haw!'. Then the Sagers had to take pics, slowly walk around the pumpkin patch and pick out their pumpkins, finally make their way over to get tickets, take a few more pics, then we (with children) finally made it into the corn maze!
Renee did great, she asked to be picked up a couple times, but pretty much walked the whole thing herself. Jed ran way ahead of us, Debbie took lots of pics, and Juli waddled along. When we finally emerged from the maze (Adam Sager made a great comment, 'I want to charge people $6 to get lost in my backyard!'), some of us got something to eat, and some of us headed over to the Pumpkin Pult. The people before us had broken the tubing, so the volunteers were trying to fix it. Of course my 'I can do everything' husband stepped in and helped fix them. After about 30 minutes they were able to start pulting those pumpkins! It was great, Adam won a pumpkin last year....he was so close this year, but no cigar (er pumpkin). I think Joey really enjoyed it, though you'd think he was bored out of his mind the whole day. And Adam Sager came pretty close too. After that we headed over to the line for the Hay Ride. Renee was to have absolutely NO part of it! She screamed and cried as soon as we climbed up on it. At one point we got down to walk around to the other side and she was saying (between sobs) 'Ok Mommy, yeah Mommy' like ok we can get off this thing now. We were walking around to get on the other side, but there was no room, so we went back to our original seats only to have her start screaming again. When they started the tractor she freaked out even more so Adam hopped off with her, and as we drove off she was crying and saying 'C'mon Mommy, c'mon!' while motioning for me to get off. It was heartbreaking but I knew she'd be fine with Daddy. It was very cute too. So, we went on the Hay Ride, learned how they harvest the hay, how they grow pumpkins, and that the farm is primarily a berry farm.
When we got back Renee was done. It was time for some lunch and a nap. So, Adam took her home and I stayed to help Debbie with the kids. She let the little girls do the Pumpkin Pult (of course helping them in all her pregnant glory), and made them try it by their self at least once. Of course, Jed was too cool for the Pumpkin Pult so he decided not to do it, but once he saw his little sissy and her friend doing it he wanted to! Too bad Jed! We then took the kids to play in the kid play area, then went home. It was a great day!
Jeremiah and Renee, he is actually smiling, just tired of Jed holding him up!

Waiting, waiting, waiting. Looks like Joey was helping too.
Squirrely and beautiful Grandma.
Gettin' tired.
This would be a really cool pic without my hand!
Pull!!!
Fling!
Nope, not even Juju can help.
Sorry Daddy, you were at the end, I would have fallen off if I leaned back any more. Top to bottom: Valarie (niece), Mommy, Joey (bro), Genevieve (Joey's gf), Juli (Sis), Adam (bro-in-law), Tierra (niece), and Darla (Tierra's friend). Natalie must be squished down between Juli and Adam.
