Awesome!

When I was getting Renee up this morning, I told her someone was coming to pick her up.
Renee, 'Grandma Luann!?!'
Me, 'Yes!!'
Renee, 'Awesome!!'

I have two tweezers in my bathroom and couldn't find them. I finally found one, and said.....
Me, 'Where are the other tweezers!?'
I went back to what I was doing, and a minute later....
Renee, 'Here Mama! Here they are!'
She found the other tweezers.....How does a 2 year old know what tweezers are??

When I was changing her diaper this morning, she was holding her binky....
Renee, 'Can I play with my binky?'
Me, 'Sure'
Renee, 'There's a hair on my binky'
Me, 'There is? Yucky. You had it in your mouth, that means you had that hair in your mouth, ewwwww'
Renee, *giggle*
Renee, 'I bless you'd on my binky'
Me, 'You what?'
Renee, 'I bless you'd on my binky! In the holes'
Me, *giggle* 'Oh! You bless you'd? You sneezed on your binky, you silly girl!'

I was getting dressed and Renee came running in to tell me....
Renee, 'Mama! Echo said....'
Me, 'What?'
Renee, 'Echo said....'
Me, 'What did she say?'
Renee, 'Echo said.....*moving her tongue in and out of her mouth*'
Me, 'Oh, that's what Echo said!' *giggle*
Renee, 'And Echo slobbered on my car too!'
Me, 'Ewwww!'
Renee, 'Yeah, gross!'

Dumb bird

I think I posted a similar video last spring/summer, but this is definitely a different bird. This is so weird. Birds like flying into our kitchen window. Anyone have any ideas?

Big sale!

Amy just called to tell me that Fred Meyer is having a big sale on baby clothes! Prices are marked down 70% off the lowest price. She said she spent a little over $100 and saved over $300!! Wow! I think I'm going to get stocked up for the next year. Yay!

I'm sure they're having the sale on other stuff too. So, go shop!

ps. For those of you going.....don't forget about Debbie's shower this Saturday, she needs 0-6 months clothes, and she's really into the cute new stuff. Chocolate brown with blue, and the brown and green. Let's spoil her!!

Silly faces

While she was cooking in her kitchen (copying daddy), I was trying to get a cute smiley pic of her, but she kept (accidentally) making silly faces. She was actually trying in the last three.

She's sick, so she's actually coughing in this one.

Time out bench

This is part of the view she has sitting on her time bench (lower left of the pic).

She was in a time out and started talking, to no one in particular. She was saying, 'I would like the lion one, or the tiger one, or how about the bear one?' 'I like the tiger one, and the lion one!'

I asked her what she was talking about and she told me, 'Fwee pazz! Fwee pazz!' 'What?' 'A tiger one, and a lion one!' She was also gesturing with her hand out (palm up) like 'see, right over there!' I said, 'Oh! Three paths!' She said, 'Yeah! Which one you would like? A tiger one, or a lion one?' Do you see the paths?

On either side of the rug..... the third (bear path) must be the rug.

Dora takes a lot of different paths when she's exploring. ;-)

Is home really that bad?

Juli had Renee over to play with Natalie last week so Adam and I could go see Coraline. It was great the second time too! When we told Renee it was time to go, she started crying (mostly because she was tired) and saying she didn't want to go. Here's what she said...

'Mommy! I need to lid he-ah! I need to lid he-ah!'
(Debbie has said she sounds like she has a southern drawl with the way her r's come out, so say it with a southern drawl)

Which translates into 'Mommy! I need to live here!'

How cute is that! ;-)
