She threw up last night! Argh! When does it end? If she's not 100% by this Friday I'll take her in.....again.

Fresh outta' the bath. How cute huh? She gets it from Adam and I, we both have really curly hair.

Felling better

These are from Sunday. She still had the fever, but was feeling better than she had in a couple days.

Taking her temp. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good thermometer? What's the best kind? Who has the best deal?

Recon snuggling with Adam. That's 18 pounds of cat! Just being sick, watching Ice Age (for the 37th time), or maybe Nemo (for the 13th time), or Dora. We watched a LOT of tv/movies this weekend.Squirrely doing what she loves most......sucking on that binky (yes, we're working on phasing it out), and rubbing her blankie in her toes. Ever since she was a baby she's loved rubbing her blankie in her hands and tootsies. ;-)

The doctor's visit went well yesterday. Everything seems good, she gave us some anti-nausea medication (plus a little extra for when...not if....Adam gets this awful bug), and said no food for 24 hrs and lots of fluids. Duh.

NO IT'S NOT THE SWINE FLU......so Juli, Joey, Genevieve, Amy, you can all rest easy. ;-)

It's time

I'm taking her to the Dr. this afternoon. She had the cha cha's this morning.....that's a "burnin' bowl of buckwheat" to you Adam. Also known as mud butt, diarrhea, etc. Anyway, she had a waffle for breakfast, she's started a cough and saying her mouth hurts (yesterday actually).....the little stinker will NOT let me look in her mouth, I figure we'll hold her down at the doctor's office, why do it twice? She threw up again today, but still has no fever. So, I called the doctor, they said to just bring her in, so I'll keep you updated!

Luann is feeling better and at work today. I called Amy who said Hayden is still throwing up, she's still taking it easy, but now Ryan has it pretty bad too! Ugh! Go away sickness!!!

I have the sweetest little Squirrel

She's slept with me for the last 2 nights (poor Adam has been on the couch), so when I told her tonight that she would sleep in her bedroom in her bed she said she didn't want to. She whined a little, took her tylenol, let me brush her teeth and gave Adam and I a big big hug! It was the cutest thing ever! I was holding her and Adam came up behind me and kinda' cradled her with me, but she turned toward us, wrapped her little arms around both of us and gave us a big hug. She told us she loved us, and went right into her bed. I told her to remember if she feels like she's going to throw up (which she hasn't all day) to call me. She said 'Like this, say, Mommy! Mommy! Mommy!' I told her yep, just like that. What a big girl. She still has the fever, but she is feeling better....let's just hope I can get this bug cleaned out before anyone else gets sick!
