It's a......

Surprise! We did NOT find out what we're having. We did have a picture printed for the baby book, but we didn't look at it. Adam has already hidden it somewhere, yes, of course I've already searched for it! Not to peek, but just to know where it is. ;-) I think that makes it easier not knowing. Just that we have it in our possession.....just in case. The ultrasound tech asked if we wanted her to write down the sex on the picture. I said, 'Well, if it's obvious then no....wait! No! Don't answer that! Because if it's a boy then it would be obvious and you wouldn't have to write it, so, yes, just go ahead and write it anyway.' Lol! She teased me about over-thinking it. So, with that said, this leads me to believe it's a girl. Why would she need to write it down if there's an obvious 3rd leg? But I'm not over-thinking it or anything. My doctor doesn't even know, they don't put it in the file if we don't want to know. So, the only person who knows is the ultrasound tech! Anyway, it's really fun. I am regretting not finding out....a little, but oh well, whether we're stocked up with girl stuff, boy stuff, or both, we'll be fine.

There's a poll on the sidebar (to the right) for you to take to tell me what you think we're having. You only have about 5 months to vote! ;-)

Surprise!

So, he told me last night his decision is to wait until the little squirt gets here! We'll see if he changes his mind at the last minute (which I doubt). I still want a picture of the little monster's 'stuff', so I'll have them cut it out and put it in a separate envelope so I can at least have it. Of course....I won't open it until July. ;-) I had a dream last night that I peeked when they were checking on the ultrasound and it was a girl. Then I had another dream that I peeked thru the sealed envelope and it was a boy! Who knows!

Teacher Juli

I brought Renee over to Juli's house yesterday so I could clean my house. It's SO awesome having her living so close now, not only do we both have the ease of dropping the girls off with each other, but Natalie and Renee get to see each other almost every day! They don't always play nice, but it's a learning process.....for all of us. Anyway, yesterday was one of the 'better' days. Juli said they did great, no fighting at all.....awesome! So, Juli took the opportunity to work on some 'Preschool' with them. I've tried to sit with Renee and work on shapes and letters and numbers, but she just doesn't have the patience. She knows her shapes, but can't draw them. She can sing the alphabet, but doesn't recognize the letters. She can count to (almost) 20, but does not recognize the numbers. I think I just need to stick with it, every day, whether she's focused or not. I don't even think to do things like this (below)! It gets her thinking, it's an awesome little memory for me, and it'll show us how she's growing and changing.

Anyway! Here's what Juli did with her.........

If you could change your name, what would you choose? Just Renee

What do you love about Daddy? (Couldn't answer so I asked "What makes you happy about Daddy?" instead.) Mmm..... He helps me pedal. (later when Daddy asked her about this, she told him....'On my trike')

What do you love about Mommy? She helps me pedal too.

What do you love about Echo? She loves dog treats.

What do you love about Kimbum? She poops and pees and pukes. It's yucky, it's not funny.

Me: "But that's yucky! What do you love about her?" Renee: She pees in the litta' box. (actually she doesn't! she pees in the bathtub! I hate that cat)

What do you love about Recon? He pukes too. He's nice. He's nice. (actually, he doesn't puke, he's more like a dog than a cat)

If we get to go on vacation this year, where would you like to go? I'd go to Max & Kody's.

What are some of your wishes for this year? My wish is to play outside.

Thank you so much for doing this Juli! I want to do this once a month, it's so cute!!!

She was supposed to draw a picture of herself, but she drew too many legs, so it's a Spida'.

Surprises!?!

So, I haven't announced it to my blogger friends yet, but we're pregnant! I'm almost 4 months along, due July 2nd. I'm pretty sure almost everyone knows, but as some people don't catch up as often as they'd like (Faith), I figured I should post it!

Anyway, we're entertaining the idea of not finding out the gender of the babe. We're still talking about it, but I told Adam he could make the final decision! Yikes! The ultrasound is scheduled for February 3rd. I just added a poll to the top right, so please vote! I'm wondering your opinion, and if you've been surprised or found out ahead of time (and have a fun story), please share your thoughts! ;-)

Sorry the font of the question is so small. I need to change the blog background, and I'm too tired to do it right now.

We have a name!!

The final decision is beautiful!

Chloe Olivia Charlotte!

Chloe? Clair?

The newest addition to our ever growing family has arrived! Laura and Daniel's sweet baby girl (no name yet) was born January 4th 2010. They have 2 boys, Ben (3 1/2) and Isaac (2 1/2), and now a sweet little girl! I would have a million pictures myself, but with all the crazy new hospital policies they can only have 3 visitors (in addition to the daddy) at the hospital for the entire stay. Lame! So, *here's* a link to Diane's (the grandmother) blog to check out the pics. Enjoy!
